Ravensgate a progressive mining consultancy with its head office in Perth, Western Australia is seeking to appoint an experienced Exploration Project Manager to assist clients and also in the overall management of Ravensgate’s Indonesian office.
Role
You will be required to assist with the strategic growth and development of the Jakarta office and be responsible for the overall development and expansion of client’s exploration projects. You will be expected to liaise with all stakeholders, from client representatives, government departments to contractors as well as prepare drill programs, and plan, implement and supervise exploration activities, with focus on safety.
Requirements
The successful applicant will be a degree qualified Geologist with substantial Minerals Exploration and Project Management experience. As a generalist with experience in a variety of commodities, you will ideally have a good knowledge of Coal. Previous exploration experience in Indonesia is preferred. Offshore experience is a prerequisite. You will also be able to sign off on JORC Compliance and possess a strong combination of technical knowledge, leadership abilities and both written and verbal communication skills.

Due to continuing expansion, Ravensgate are seeking applications from experienced Geologists to fill the roles of Principal and Senior Consultants to add to our existing team of quality geological consultants.

As a Principal Consultant you will be active in leading the growth of this business utilising your industry contacts to develop new business interests. Working at a principal level you will be required to manage a small team as well as on occasion, work autonomously.
The technical aspects of your role will include:
- JORC compliant resource estimates and modelling;
- Due Diligence;
- Contributing to scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies;
- Preparing independent reviews and technical audits and valuations;
- Writing technical expert reports.
